I was born in Belgium in 1953 and live now in Elsau (Winterthur), Switzerland.
My fascination for photography started a long time ago, when my father gave me a Nikon F camera, my first camera and my first step into the world of photography. Since my childhood I have had this passion and it has always been part of my life.
When the first digital cameras came out, I also switched from analogue to digital photography. First I had a Sony Mavica, shortly after I changed to Canon EOS 300D, then to 20D/40D/60D and the 5DMKII.
Today nature photography is still very important to me, and I can hardly imagine living without this amazing hobby.
I always try to take pictures of wild animals without disturbing, catching or luring them. Animal and nature protection are important to me, otherwise I could not pursue my hobby.
With this in mind, I wish all visitors of my website “Always good light conditions!”
Ich wurde 1953 in Belgien geboren und lebe jetzt in Elsau (Winterthur) Schweiz.
Begonnen hat alles vor vielen Jahren, mit einer Nikon F, meiner Einstiegskamera, einem Geschenk von meinem Vater. Die Faszination für die Fotografie hat mich schon in meiner Kindheit gepackt und seither nicht mehr losgelassen.
Mit dem Aufkommen der Digitalfotografie stieg auch ich von analog auf digital um. Meine erste Digitalkamera war eine Mavica von Sony, kurz danach wechselte ich zur Canon EOS 300D, dann weiter zur 20D/40D/60D und der 5DMKII.
Heute nimmt die Naturfotografie einen wichtigen Stellenwert in meinem Leben ein, und ist für mich nicht mehr wegzudenken.
Ich versuche frei lebende Tier abzulichten, ohne sie zu stören, zu fangen oder zu locken. Tier- und Naturschutz sind für mich selbstverständlich. Ohne diese zu berücksichtigen, könnte ich meinem Hobby nicht nachgehen.
In diesem Sinne wünsche ich allen Besuchern meiner Website “Allzeit gut Licht!”.
